The Spanish Wine Tasters Association joins Wine in Moderation in the occasion of WiM Day 2024

The new adhesion was officialised during an event organised at Espacio Vino in Madrid to celebrate the 2^nd edition of Wine in Moderation Day in the presence of Eduardo de Diego, Vice-President of Wine in Moderation and Director of Communications at Federación Española del Vino (FEV), and Marina García, President of the Spanish Wine Tasters Association. The signature was followed by a celebratory tasting and pairing workshop, where the Wine in Moderation Day campaign (‘The greatest wine? The one that you’ll remember’) visuals and messages were put forward.

As a WiM Supporter under the umbrella of FEV, National Coordinator in Spain, the Spanish Wine Tasters Association commits to include Wine in Moderation in its trainings, seminars and wine tourism experiences, aimed at both wine professionals and enthusiasts, and to encourage a culture of moderation among its more than 600 members.

As wine tourism activities and wine tastings are gaining in popularity among the general population, it is increasingly important to offer a responsible and thus more enjoyable experience to visitors and customers.
