Vinos de Chile presents the implementation of Wine in Moderation in WiM Day webinar

On 14 November 2024, the Culinary School of Chile, an institution specialised in culinary arts, hospitality and tourism, as well as a Supporter of Wine in Moderation, organised a webinar in the frame of the Wine in Moderation Day.

With the title ‘Hacia un consumo responsable de vinos’ (‘Towards a responsible consumption of wine’), the webinar saw the attendance of more than 100 people, most of which were students and teachers.

Three speakers participated in the panel discussion: Gonzalo Rojas, historian, who shared his vision of the historical relationship between wine and the Chilean society; Andrea Morales, head of sustainability at VSPT Wine Group, who commented on the company's work when it comes to responsible drinking; and finally Patricio Parra, manager of Consorcio I+D Vinos de Chile and National Coordinator of Wine in Moderation in Chile, who spoke about the implementation of Wine in Moderation in Chile, the type of activities that have been carried out and the vision of a sustainable culture of wine, including responsible and moderate consumption.

This was the first time that a Wine in Moderation activity was carried out in collaboration with an institute such as Culinary, highlighting the increasing importance and relevance of educational centres and hospitality establishments when it comes to spreading the message of moderation.
