Wine in Moderation among the key players of the new ambitious project by the Consorzio Tutela Vini DOC Delle Venezie

On April 15th, a press conference was held at the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty and Forestry in Rome, to officially present the project “Impresa-Giovani-Futuro”, developed by the Consorzio DOC Delle Venezie, in collaboration with Re.N.Is.A. – the National Network of Agricultural Institutes.
In the frame of the project, the two entities signed a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at enhancing wine culture through the promotion of responsible and moderate wine consumption, introducing students from agricultural institutes to Pinot Grigio DOC Delle Venezie, and facilitating the entry of young people into the workforce, with a particular focus on the wine sector.
The agreement foresees the active involvement of Wine in Moderation in the promotion of wine culture, as well as in the development of educational and cultural projects – particularly those aimed at students – to raise awareness on key topics such as viticulture, responsible consumption, and the role of wine as part of the Mediterranean diet.
Numerous experts from the world of oenology and education took part in the event.
Among the speakers was also the Secretary General of Wine in Moderation, Nadia Frittella, who outlined the role of Wine in Moderation in the initiative.
“Consorzio DOC Delle Venezie joined the Wine in Moderation movement last year, strengthening our commitment to promoting a responsible wine culture in the region,” said Frittella. “Education has always been a cornerstone of our social responsibility program, which is now further enriched by the launch of our digital training on responsible wine service.”
This highly ambitious project is yet another confirmation of the strong commitment of Consorzio DOC Delle Venezie to the mission and goals of Wine in Moderation: to foster a sustainable culture of responsible and conscious wine consumption.
