Vinitaly 2025 - another successful edition

Wine in Moderation was pleased to take part in Vinitaly 2025, with a dedicated stand that welcomed professionals from across the wine sector. The fair provided a valuable opportunity to engage directly with a wide range of stakeholders, Italian and international, including representatives from wineries, hospitality, import and distribution, education, and the media.

Our presence at Vinitaly was made even more impactful thanks to the strong support of our members and partners in Italy, who were present at the booth throughout the fair. They played a key role in informing visitors about the Wine in Moderation programme, sharing details on how to join, and distributing educational materials to those interested in learning more about responsible wine consumption.

Consorzio Prosecco DOC took the opportunity to organise a presentation at their stand where they invited the president, Sandro Sartor, who presented the Programme and discussed how wine is best appreciated, in the frame of balanced lifestyle, alongside food and water and always in moderation. 

It was also an important moment for Unione Italiana Vini that signed a two-year agreement with the Lions Club of Palermo in Sicily for the organisation of joint events to encourage moderate and responsible drinking.

The high level of interest and engagement at our stand highlighted a growing awareness within the sector of the importance of promoting moderation and responsibility in wine culture. We were pleased to see a genuine interest in the programme’s values and activities.
